RE-BUILDING HOPE, 08-09
OUR MISSION
When we began ReBuilding Hope in the fall of 2008, our goal was to raise awareness about poverty & adequate housing issues and raise money for Habitat for Humanity in Durham and New Orleans.  Through various projects, we were able to raise over $17,000 for that tremendous organization!  Please take time to review our projects, photos, and videos below!

Hurricane Relief Project,05-06
Shortly after Hurricane Katrina hit, the Jordan High School community came together to complete a year-long, school wide project to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina through the American Red Cross.  Together, through various projects, our school raised over $11,000 shattering our goal by over a thousand dollars.  This money was then donated and used to help victims along the gulf coast!
Tsunami Relief Project, 2004
After the Tsunami hit in Asia, Mr. McDonald's Civics & Economics classes went about the project of raising money for the victims of the natural disaster that affected our international community.  Combined with residents of The Cedars at Chapel Hill, the group raised over $6,000 for the American Red Cross.
